The return of the Excess and/or Deposit or Preauthorisation may vary between 14 and 31 days depending on the bank used and due to the operational capacity of the lessee's bank.
The release of the pre-authorised amount is made at the time of contract closure, usually on the same day the vehicle is returned. Depending on the settlement period of your credit card or the conditions of your bank, the release of the excess and/or deposit may take up to 30 days to be reflected. Remember that, as it is a pre-authorisation, you will not see it reflected as a refund but as an extension of the credit associated with the card.
