Things you shouldn't miss on your route through southern Spain

Our starting point is the beautiful city of Malaga known for its warm climate and magical beaches.

Before getting in the car, be sure to visit the Alcazaba, an ancient Moorish fortress that offers panoramic views of the city. You can also make a route by car through its villages. After soaking up the history, it's time to hit the road for our first stop: Marbella.

Marbella is synonymous with luxury and glamour, but it also has a lot of charm. Take a stroll through its old town, the Casco Antiguo, and lose yourself in the narrow cobblestone streets. Stop at a bar terrace to enjoy some delicious tapas and watch the people go by. If you're lucky, you might even run into a celebrity.

The next stop on our route is Ronda, a spectacular city perched at the top of a gorge. The view from the famous New Bridge is simply breathtaking. Stroll through the cobblestone streets and discover the rich history of the city. You can also visit the Bullring, one of the oldest in Spain.

The jewel of Andalusia on this route through Southern Spain

We continue our trip to Seville, the jewel of Andalusia. The cathedral of Seville and the Giralda are mandatory stops.

If you have the energy, climb to the top of the Giralda for a panoramic view of the city. Don't forget to try some tapas in the local bars and enjoy live flamenco, an experience that is bound to move you.

From Seville, we head to Cordoba, a city full of history and charm. The Mosque-Cathedral is the main attraction of the city and you cannot miss it. It is a fascinating place with unique architecture that combines Islamic and Christian influences. Take a stroll through the Jewish Quarter and discover its narrow streets and flower-filled courtyards.

Our last stop on this route is Granada home of the famous Alhambra.

This palace and fortress is a real wonder and a testimony to the splendor of Spain's Moorish past. Book your tickets in advance and enjoy the beautiful gardens and breathtaking views of the city from the Alcazaba. And, of course, while you're there, it's not out of place to visit the areas in the region of Granada.

Afterwards, it is time to return to Malaga to put an end to our adventure. But before you go, be sure to enjoy one last paella and sunbathe on one of the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol.

This driving tour through Southern Spain will take you through breathtaking landscapes, historic cities and allow you to enjoy the rich culture and delicious gastronomy of the region. In addition, traveling by car will give you the flexibility to explore at your own pace and stop at scenic spots along the way.

Nature in its purest form on the route through southern Spain

As you drive along the winding roads of southern Spain, you will encounter varied and dazzling landscapes. From the golden beaches of the Costa del Sol to the rugged mountains of the Sierra Nevada.

But it's not all about natural landscapes. The cities you will visit on this route are full of life and have their own unique charm. Explore the labyrinths of narrow streets in the old towns, where you will find local stores, cozy cafés and lively squares.

In addition to natural beauty and delicious food, Southern Spain is also famous for its local fiestas. If you are lucky enough to visit during one of the local festivities, such as the Feria de Abril in Seville or Semana Santa in Malaga, you will find yourself immersed in a celebration full of music, dance and deep-rooted traditions.
