As one of the most prestigious awards and the first film awards event of the season, as they are the prelude to the Goya Awards, the Forqué Awards have been presented for almost three decades to the best Spanish film talent.
This new edition brought together familiar faces and celebrities such as J.A. Bayona, Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, Malena Alterio, Amaia Salamanca, Javier Cámara, Santiago Segura, and Álvaro Morte, among many others, and was hosted by actors Macarena Gómez and Pablo Chiapella.
Among the award winners, the film 20.000 especies de abejas, the TV series La Mesías or actors Roger Casamajor, Lola Dueñas, or Malena Alterio, as well as tributes to personalities who have recently passed away, such as Verónica Forqué or also actress Itziar Castro.
The gala also featured no less remarkable musical performances, such as Ana Guerra or Ana Mena, who performed versions of "Limosna de amores" or "A tu vera" in memory of the 30 th anniversary of Spanish artist Lola Flores’ passing.
The mobility, also a star in film
The OK Mobility brand was also present on the red carpet, where the nominees, guests, and popular personalities of the Spanish entertainment industry paraded.
There, the OK Mobility reporter had the opportunity to chat with several of the attendees about their experience in filming car or motorcycle scenes.
The interviewees told us all kinds of anecdotes and peculiar stories experienced throughout their careers as performers, directors, or screenwriters, which have sometimes been a challenge for them.
OK Mobility's continued commitment to art and culture
This new edition of the Forqué Awards has served as a new opportunity for OK Mobility to support and promote Spanish art and culture, being present at the meet & greet, where attendees and nominees arrived after the red carpet, in the hall of the gala, with a general photocall and with a Smart vehicle on display, where 30 days of rental with OK Mobility were raffled.
In addition, a set of Smart vehicles was displayed with images of the nominated series and films in which cars appeared. With this, OK Mobility made a nod to mobility and the presence of vehicles in fiction, with the phrase "We travel with you" in both reality and fiction.
With its contribution to actions such as this, the brand reinforces its commitment to the visibility and recognition of the wide range of talent in Spanish cinema.
It does so in the best possible way - providing for the occasion a variety of Brabus #1 model vehicles in collaboration with Smart Spain, specially decorated for the event and at the disposal of nominees and celebrities for their travel to the gala held at IFEMA.
