Striving to promote and give greater visibility to the Spanish independent musical talent, this second edition of the Acoustic Sessions took place on September 6, 13, and 20 at the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid, with a line-up that included three important names in the Spanish independent musical scene: singer and songwriter Bely Basarte, the band Merino, and also singer and songwriter Julia Medina.

An OK Mobility brand project that adds true value

Brand projects like this and the one held in Mallorca is the brand’s continued effort to organise concerts like these, adding true value to the culture and music calendar in Spain. Projects such as this one represent its ongoing commitment to promoting and fostering Spain’s independent musical talent.

And for this, the location played an important role as well. The first edition in Mallorca brought the audience to a “secret” venue in Palma’s Auditorium and this second one had a special element to it, as the location was Hard Rock Hotel Madrid’s Roxy Garden, the iconic hotel’s garden.

Three prominent names perform at Hard Rock Hotel Madrid

The first concert took place on September 6 by Merino, the band from Madrid already famous for its intense lyrics, soft melodies, and electrifying chords.

The band began its career in 2018 thanks to Sandra Merino and Alex Gallego, a mix that has been able to maintain its essence and delight the public with its ability to transport us with its songs to the golden age of Spanish pop.

The second performance came with the Spanish singer-songwriter Bely Basarte on September 13, a new chance for the audience to enjoy one of the best musical talents in the national independent music scene. Also originally from Madrid, Bely Basate took her first steps as an artist on YouTube and has seen her career skyrocket ever since, making it to present herself at the Goya Awards Gala.

The Acoustic Sessions final performance took place on September 20 by Julia Media, a singer-songwriter from Cadiz, who presented one of her most successful and heartfelt hits, Cara B, among others. Medina is also a name that sounds strong in the independent music scene in our country, after making herself known in the popular talent show Operación Triunfo in 2018.

With this second edition, OK Mobility consolidates its support for culture and music through its own branded projects like this one, focusing on offering unique experiences for attendees. The Acoustic Sessions join a long list of similar events in which OK Mobility participates.
